Found a Katydid:

I swear, I got some amazing shots of this Praying Mantis. I must have gotten about 120 of them before I released him outside. And guess what- No memory card in my camera. AHHHHHH!!!

So, I grabbed my memory card, recaptured the poor little guy, and dragged him back in for about 15 more shots. Nothing very impressive unfortunately. But heres the best of what I got:

Crazy noises

I had to make some crazy noises to get both of these darn dogs to look at me, and it STILL isn't quite in focus. Coulda been a lot better.

Welcome to my photo blog.

I am not a photographer by any means, I just want to have fun, photograph my dogs, and shoot reference for drawing, which is my real passion. Now a days, people run out and buy an expensive camera and all of a sudden they're opening up their own photography business and claiming that they are professionals. Jerks. So I decided to buy a camera just to prove to myself that I could take a photo at least as good as half of these so called pros.

I bought a Canon Rebel. I don't really know how to use it, but I'm going to have a good time learning.

Below are some of my first attempts... Figuring out what an f-stop is, shutterspeed, and how to use all those other fancy buttons.
